Job description for Purchasing Officer at PT Samudera Pangan Khatulistiwa
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Procurement & Purchasing Staff to oversee our office operations, and vendor management.
The ideal candidate will support the procurement process by managing requests, negotiating with suppliers for best pricing, ensuring compliance with purchase orders, and coordinating deliveries. Responsibilities include conducting SRM bidding, exploring alternative vendors, and monitoring outstanding purchase orders.
Resposibility :
Create PO internal purchases of companies and projects.
Provide administrative support to the procurement team, including data entry, saving reports, and supplier contract/agreement.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
Conducting Procurement activities with transparency and accountability.
Have experience with import purchases.
Purchase goods requested by user/managment that meet the expected quantity, quality, and price.
Process PO to obtain procurement & finance approval.
Submit PO to vendors and Follow up the PO process to the vendor until the goods are received at the inventory point.
Looking for new suppliers / vendors to compare purchases / databases.
Negotiate prices / payment terms.
Complete billing documents (PO - Purchase Order / NPB - Nomor Pendaftaran Barang) from the vendor
Carry out other tasks requested by management.
Oversee the vendor lifecycle, including selection, contract execution, and performance reviews.
Preparing procurement reports as required.
Requirement :
Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor) specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
Min 3 years of working experience as Procurement & Purchasing Staff.
Have high initiative in work, deep in analytical thinking, problem solving, and detail oriented.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); able to deal with big data, experience with ERP system.
Good communication skill.
Strong competencies in Procurement Management, negotiation skills, expedition management, contract management, and basic knowledge of tax regulation.
Good English language skills both oral and written is a PLUS.
Deep in analytical thinking, problem solving, and detail oriented.
Excellent networking and time management skills.
Solid analytical skills, negotiation skills with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analysis.
