Job description for PURCHASING MANAGER at PT. TRIPPER NATURE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing or Procurement, preferably in FMCG, food ingredients, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in supplier management and strategic sourcing.
- Understanding of import/export processes and procurement regulations is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Odoo experience is a plus).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop strategic sourcing and supplier management to ensure stable, cost-effective, and sustainable procurement.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to achieve the best quality, pricing, and delivery performance.
- Monitor supplier performance, market trends, and supply risks to support business continuity and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with QA, Production, Logistics, Finance, and related teams to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, quality standards, import-export regulations, and sustainability commitments.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and reporting within ERP/Odoo systems.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and develop a high-performing purchasing team through strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
