Job description for Purchasing Intern at Lillipods Preschool
LILLIPODS Preschool The Icon BSD is looking for an Purchasing Intern to assist with a variety of tasks and provide support for our school’s day-to-day operations needs.
Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase goods through both online and offline vendors, considering delivery timelines, pricing, and product quality.
- Manage purchasing administration, including collecting receipts, maintaining invoices and proof of payment in the purchasing tracker, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
- Monitor and record incoming goods, verify deliveries, and coordinate with teachers or staff members who requested the items to ensure timely distribution.
- Maintain purchasing administration, documentation, and procurement databases.
- Coordinate with the Operations team and other departments to support procurement requests and purchasing activities
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate student (min. S-1) from any major with no active classes; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Able to ride a motorcycle and a valid driving license for purchasing activities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and the team.
- Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to manage cash transactions responsibly.
Nice to Have: Experience in sourcing and procuring goods, as well as coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
