Purchasing Officer

BITTO Woodfire Social Grill is a modern woodfire restaurant located in Berawa, Bali. We are passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences through premium ingredients, outstanding service, and a warm hospitality culture.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our team and ensure the smooth procurement of all operational needs.
Responsibilities
* Source and purchase food, beverage, operational supplies, and restaurant equipment.
* Compare prices, quality, and lead times to obtain the best value from suppliers.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
* Request quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
* Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) accurately and on time.
* Coordinate closely with the Kitchen, Bar, Operations, and Accounting teams regarding purchasing needs.
* Monitor stock levels together with the Storekeeper to prevent overstocking or shortages.
* Ensure all purchased items meet BITTO’s quality standards and specifications.
* Follow up on deliveries and resolve any issues related to delays, shortages, or incorrect items.
* Maintain organized purchasing records, supplier databases, quotations, and invoices.
* Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
* Support monthly inventory and cost control initiatives.
* Ensure purchasing activities comply with company procedures and budgets.
Requirements
* Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
* At least 1 year of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain (restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred).
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
* Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
* Familiar with purchasing systems and inventory management is an advantage.
* Honest, responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive.
* Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English communication is preferred.
