Job description for Purchasing Assistant at MINDLAB
Job Descriptions
- Perform a variety of administrative functions associated with purchasing activities
- Collect purchase orders and requisitions for ordering materials, goods, and supplies.
- Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers
- Communicate and do negotiation deals with suppliers and research possible item selections
- Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to make sure requested items are delivered within the required time frame
- Conduct incoming inspections of purchased goods liaising with the Warehouse team
- Respond to requests for product information from the Sales team
- Perform data verification of updated details for incoming goods by collaborating with the Operations team
- Prepare material required for inventory control activity
- Other duties assigned by Purchasing Supervisor
Qualifications
- Min. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or any relevant major or any relevant major (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Experience working in Purchasing or Buyer
- Possess a good knowledge of Indonesia marketplace operation (Shopee, Tokopedia, etc.)
- Have good experience in purchasing goods from international marketplaces (e.g: eBay, Amazon, etc)
- Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)
- Ability to speak in Mandarin is preferable
- Familiar with Warehouse Managemeney System, Jurnal.ID
- Proactive, reliable, self-driven and organized
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and sometimes demanding environment
