Job description for Purchasing & Import Officer at PT. Wahana Adireksa Pratama
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Purchasing or Procurement, preferably handling international procurement/import activities.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end import purchasing process, from supplier sourcing and quotation to goods receipt.
- Familiar with import documentation, including Purchase Orders (PO), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (B/L) or Air Waybill (AWB), Certificate of Origin (COO), and other shipping documents.
- Knowledge of Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.) and international shipping procedures.
- Experience coordinating with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and on-time delivery.
- Good command of written and spoken English for daily communication with international suppliers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
