Job description for PURCHASER (TRADE GOODS) at Pt. Alvindo Catur Sentosa
PT Alvindo Catur Sentosa started in 2000 as a general supplier, has grown and developed into a leading pipe fittings stockist most trusted by leading companies (oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, power generation, and other general industries) in Indonesia. With more than 10,000 SKUs in inventory covering valves, butt-weld fittings, forged fittings, flanges, gaskets, and pipes; all managed with a sophisticated ERP system and supported by professional staff to ensure customer needs are met.
Responsibilities :
- Search and select vendors according to the company’s routine needs
- Release PO to the vendor appointed to carry out the procurement (Trade Goods)
- Regularly evaluate vendor performance
- Prepare regular purchasing reports and analysis, and provide suggestions/recommendations to the Superior for improvements
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Economics or Engineering)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Purchaser, especially in general purchasing
- Proficient in computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, &Email)
- Active English proficiency, both spoken and written
- Mandarin language skills will be an advantage
- Strong interest in engineering products.
- Experience in operating SAP/ERP systems
- Discipline, communicative, detail oriented, proactive, high initiative
