Job description for Public Relations Staff at BAIC Indonesia
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with media partners, government institutions, business partners, and other external stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute press releases, official statements, and other corporate communication materials.
- Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment regarding the company, and prepare regular media monitoring reports.
- Support the execution of corporate branding, CSR, and public engagement initiatives.
- Handle inquiries from media and external parties in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent corporate messaging across all communication channels.
- Assist in managing the company's reputation and support crisis communication activities when required.
- Develop communication materials, including speeches, presentations, newsletters, and corporate announcements.
- Maintain and update media databases, stakeholder contact lists, and communication records.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Media Relations, or a similar role.
- Experience in the automotive industry, multinational company, or agency environment.
- Existing network with media professionals and relevant government agencies.
- Understanding of corporate branding and reputation management.
- Experience in organizing corporate events, media activities, and public campaigns.
- Familiarity with media monitoring, press release writing, and communication planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Creative, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Willing to travel for business meetings and corporate events when required.
