What they’ll do:
• Lead, manage, and develop the Project Manager team.
• Make sure every PM is doing their job properly.
• Step in and cover the team when there are escalations, difficult clients, or high-risk projects.
• Act as the first escalation point for major client or project issues.
• QC projects that require extra attention, especially high-stakes, strategic, or sensitive projects.
• Ideally have visibility across all projects, even if they are not reviewing every single deliverable.
• Ensure reports are on time, accurate, and actually useful.
• Be comfortable reading campaign data and understanding performance.
• Still be capable of handling clients directly when needed.
• Maintain quality standards across all project deliverables.
• Coach the team on client management, problem solving, attention to detail, reporting, and timeline ownership.
• Clean up problems when necessary. Yes, some “mess fixing” comes with the role.
What good looks like:
The team runs smoothly, reports are always on time, deliverables meet standards, and issues get solved before they become bigger problems.
