About Us
We are 11th Space, a Business and Startup Accelerator based in Melbourne, Australia. Our hub in Indonesia was established in 2021. In our daily work, we closely monitor our portfolios and introduce new programs like StartupConnect and our annual event, NEXSPACE. Some of the portfolios in our accelerator include Waku, Leanlab, Skyeats, and more.
About the Job
We're seeking a quick-witted and highly communicative Program Manager to manage the acquisition of potential portfolio candidates as well as program development, particularly for our Accelerator program. The ideal candidate is strategic, detail-oriented, and efficient, with a track record of developing strong stakeholder relationships to improve the portfolio's reputation and visibility. Your Responsibility
- Lead the acquisition of New Businesses (Potential Ventures or Startups) by identifying and attracting high-potential candidates through partnerships, collaborations, and program development.
- Focus on onboarding New Businesses into the accelerator program, from data collection to agreement finalization, ensuring a seamless handover to Portfolio Managers for monitoring and scaling.
- Design and execute impactful and efficient programs to attract and support New Businesses while ensuring they are scalable and primed for long-term success.
- Strategically manage budgets for promotions, campaigns, and program development to achieve the annual goal of onboarding 3–6 New Businesses.
- Ensure the successful execution of the core accelerator program by regularly monitoring progress and addressing challenges faced by Accelerator Portfolios.
- Coordinate with Portfolio Founders to ensure they receive the necessary resources and support for business growth.
- Build partnerships that enhance the accelerator’s reputation and visibility within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
- Prevent stagnation or neglect within Accelerator Portfolios by providing continuous program oversight and support.
The Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in program or business development, with proven experience in project management (from budgeting to execution).
- Strong proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written, spoken, and listening). Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
- Strong social communication skills, able to collaborate respectfully with Founders and team members (not a bossy type).
- A lifelong learner who enjoys teaching and sharing knowledge.
- Passionate about entrepreneurship, investment, and startups, with the ability to design and manage effective programs.
