Job description for Production Supervisor at PT Green City Traffic
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervise daily technical operations and directly manage a team of 50+ technicians and operators to ensure optimal shift performance and output.
2. Oversee mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance routines to minimize production downtime.
3. Enforce strict HSE safety standards and monitor output quality to immediately resolve shop-floor defects.
4. Submit daily shift summary reports to management and apply practical 5S/Lean practices to keep the shop floor organized and efficient.
Job Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related Technical field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven hands-on experience in production, mechanical maintenance, or technical operations.
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing large teams (50+ headcount) in a manufacturing or technical facility.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) for professional reporting, technical documentation, and cross-functional communication.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electromechanical equipment, and automated manufacturing processes.
- Solid grasp of preventive/predictive maintenance strategies and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement frameworks (5S, Lean, TPM, OEE).
- Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, crisis management, and decision-making abilities under high-pressure scenarios.
