About the role
PT Bening Big Tree Farms is seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing and logistics operations. This is a full-time position based in Sukoharjo, Central Java, with responsibilities that may extend as required. As Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily production activities, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and leading your team to achieve production targets. This position is integral to our commitment to delivering excellence in manufacturing and logistics operations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and manage production teams on a daily basis, ensuring all staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Track production output and maintain accurate records of production metrics, identifying areas for improvement
- Implement and maintain workplace safety protocols, conducting regular safety briefings and investigations when necessary
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and minimise downtime
- Train and develop production staff, providing guidance on best practices and performance improvement
- Communicate effectively with senior management regarding production status, challenges, and solutions
- Manage inventory and materials within the production area to ensure efficient workflow
- Identify process improvements and work collaboratively to implement efficiency enhancements
- Ensure all production documentation is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with company standards
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar supervisory role in manufacturing or logistics environments, ideally with 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in production management systems and basic computer literacy
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and practices
- Flexibility to work shifts as required by operational needs
- Willingness to travel between Pangandaran and Pacitan facilities as needed
