About the role:
We are seeking a Production Planner specialist to join PT SANNENG ASIA INDUSTRY INDONESIA. This is a full-time position based in Subang , West Java. As Production Planner, you will play a critical role in optimizing our production operations by managing inventory levels, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring efficient material flow throughout our manufacturing facility. This position is essential to meeting customer demands whilst maintaining cost-effectiveness and operational excellence within our assembly and process work environment.
Able to communicate in Mandarin language, and willing to have training at Solo Karanganyar Central Java for 6-12 months and after the training will be placed at Subang factory
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders and manufacturing capacity
- Monitor inventory levels across raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods to optimize stock holdings
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely execution of manufacturing schedules and adherence to delivery deadlines
- Analyze demand patterns and adjust production plans accordingly to minimize stockouts and overstock situations
- Prepare material requirements planning (MRP) reports and communicate requirements to the procurement team
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, production efficiency and on-time delivery rates
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of records
- Collaborate with sales, operations and quality teams to resolve production bottlenecks and supply chain issues
- Maintain detailed records of production activities, inventory movements and planning decisions
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in production and inventory management
What we're looking for
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in production planning, inventory control or similar roles within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and production planning software
- Must be able to communicate in Mandarin Language
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail
- Good communication skills in both written and verbal forms, with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Knowledge of inventory management principles, demand forecasting techniques and production scheduling methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing business requirements
- Familiarity with assembly and process work manufacturing operations is highly desirable
