Job description for Production Manager at PT. JOINEASE MANUFAKTUR INDONESIA
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure production targets are achieved, and drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Statistics, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in production operations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role, overseeing production teams and daily manufacturing activities.
- Experience in plastic injection molding or a similar manufacturing process is strongly preferred.
- Good command of Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of end-to-end production operations, including production scheduling, capacity planning, cycle time, line balancing, manpower planning, machine utilization, and WIP control.
- Proven ability to monitor and improve production KPIs, including output achievement, productivity, efficiency, OEE, downtime, scrap rate, and on-time delivery.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, injection molding defects, quality control, and production process standards.
- Strong capability in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement using 5 Why, Fishbone, PDCA, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S.
- Ability to optimize manpower, machines, materials, and production costs while maintaining product quality and delivery targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, production data analysis, KPI reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Demonstrated leadership in developing supervisors and production teams, managing performance, enforcing operational discipline, and driving accountability.
- Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Hands-on, data-driven, and results-oriented, with a strong ownership mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
