Job description for Production Manager at CT ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment including 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
- Knowledge of various industrial manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Record of successful managerial experience within a manufacturing or service environment in the valve industry or a related business.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with Engineering and Production and machining operations.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, especially for Valves: Gate, Ball, Globe, Check Valves.
- Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results.
- Assess and develop employee skill-sets to ensure technicians are developed for the parts and processes they will be supporting.
- Monitor production to resolve issues.
- Checks manufacturing equipment and control points to ensure efficient workflow is maintained.
