About Waffle
Waffle is an Indonesian ERP built for growing businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and disconnected apps. One system covers accounting, point of sale, inventory and multi-warehouse, manufacturing, HR and payroll, and Indonesian tax compliance (e-Faktur, Coretax) — with one set of books behind all of it. We are a small founder-led team shipping fast, and we take correctness seriously: a wrong number in someone's books is a real problem, not a cosmetic one.
The role
You will use Waffle the way a real business would — enter products, receive stock, sell at the register, raise purchase requests, run payroll, close a month — and tell us everything that is wrong, confusing, slow, or missing. You are the person who finds the bug before a customer does.
What you'll do
Work through each module end to end on our staging site, following real business scenarios we give you and ones you invent.
Record every bug with exact steps to reproduce, what you expected, what happened, and a screenshot.
Give plain, honest feedback on flow: where you got stuck, what took too many clicks, what a shop owner or an accountant would find unclear.
Re-test fixes and confirm they are actually fixed.
Keep a running log so nothing you found gets lost.
What we're looking for
Curious and stubborn: you try the odd path, the wrong input, the double-click.
Clear written Indonesian; working English for the interface and bug reports.
Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic business admin (invoices, stock, payroll) — you don't need to be an accountant, but you should know what a purchase order is.
Attention to detail over speed. A precise report of one bug beats a vague list of ten.
Nice to have: experience with any ERP, POS, or accounting software, or QA/testing work.
