Job description for Product Photographer & Videographer Editor (Full Time/Freelance) at SASC
Responsibilities :
Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality product photos and videos for cosmetics and skincare products across digital platforms, including social media, e-commerce, and marketing campaigns.
Capture visually appealing product shots, texture shots, swatches, packaging details, and lifestyle content that highlight product features and benefits.
Set up and operate photography and videography equipment, including cameras, lighting, backgrounds, and props, to achieve premium visual results.
Edit and retouch product photos, ensuring accurate color representation, clean compositions, and consistency with the brand's visual identity.
Edit short-form and long-form videos by adding transitions, captions, music, motion graphics, and visual effects to create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok and other platforms.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Creative, and Product Development teams to execute content based on campaign objectives, product launches, and promotional activities.
Organize and maintain a library of photo and video assets for future marketing use.
Ensure all visual content meets brand guidelines and maintains a consistent premium aesthetic.
Stay updated with the latest beauty, photography, videography, and social media trends to continuously improve content quality and creativity.
Manage photography and videography equipment and recommend improvements to studio setup when needed.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Photography, Multimedia, Visual Communication Design, Film, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in product photography and videography, preferably in the beauty, cosmetics, skincare industry.
Strong portfolio showcasing product photography, videography, and editing work, especially beauty or cosmetic-related content.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
Strong understanding of studio lighting, composition, color theory, and product styling.
Experience creating engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms.
Ability to capture beauty products with attention to detail, including textures, finishes, reflections, and packaging.
Familiar with current beauty and social media trends, especially short-form video content and viral content formats.
Creative mindset with strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.
Able to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
