Job description for Product Owner at Tamtech International

We are seeking a talented and driven Product Owner to lead the development and management of the Back Office modules within our Hospital Information Management System (SIM-RS). As the Back Office Product Owner, you will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of critical administrative modules—including finance, procurement, inventory and purchasing management, and human resources, asset management, administrative health care institution. Your role will ensure that the system meets the complex operational needs of healthcare facilities while aligning with our core business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and enhance a product that streamlines hospital administration, ensures regulatory and financial compliance, and optimizes internal resource management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and communicate the long-term product vision and strategy to align with the company's business goals.
  2. Gather, analyze, and prioritize client needs, translating them into clear product objectives and a well-defined roadmap.
  3. Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to develop and steer the product roadmap.
  4. Monitor the product backlog to ensure that feature development aligns with client needs and company strategy.
  5. Oversee product feature delivery, ensuring features are completed on time, within scope, and up to specified quality standards.
  6. Initiate ideas and strategies to drive significant business impact, fostering product innovation and relevant improvements.
  7. Take responsibility for handling product-related matters, including inquiries, issues, and requests from clients.
  8. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and innovation opportunities within health technology (HealthTech).
  9. Monitor product performance and propose data-driven improvements.
  10. Initiate and lead strategic discussions with stakeholders to ensure product development remains aligned with business priorities and client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of back office function, healthcare operations, and hospital administration.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to take ownership and accountability for product development.
  • Fully available for work on-site at Tamtech International office in Yogyakarta.
