Your Responsibility
Product Strategy and Product Development
• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap with in-depth understanding of Ecommerce markets, competition, and user needs
• Drive the entire product life cycle across various platforms from ideation, requirements gathering, research, design, development, testing to launch and iterations.
• Do deep dive (quantitative/qualitative) and work with internal team to understand the limitations of our product at the moment and provide solutions.
• Lead and project manage our agile process, maintain backlogs, and lead the standups
• Lead the improvement process of our internal business process and tools used to build a scalable internal platform as we grow rapidly.
• Make data-driven decisions quantitatively and qualitatively
• Work with multiple stakeholders on a day to day basis to manage your own as well as their expectations related to the solutions being built.
Skills and Requirements
• At least 5+ years of experience in Product Owner/Product Manager position
• Demonstrated ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.
• A diverse portfolio of projects that demonstrate your skills in product
management
• Great communication skills and an ability to explain your design decisions clearly, including the problem you are solving, alternative options you considered, and preferred solutions
• Customer obsession: always start from ‘customer’ to understand their problems/needs and to be the customers’ advocate and always bring the focus on their needs.
• Ownership: understands well that any issue with the product
(strategy/communication/design/technical/service) that impacts the customer experience is your problem and you need to know always what is the next step to solve it
• An interest in high-level product strategy and vision and a recognition of how your work can impact it
• Understands technology enough to be able to design a high-level flow of technology solutions, understands the overall process of development, testing and the release cycle, can discuss technical corner cases of anomaly values with stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills
• Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic startup environment
• Experience with E-commerce mobile/web app is a huge plus
