Job description for Product Growth Intern at Aspire Financial Technologies Pte Ltd
About the role:
With the launch in May 2020 of the Aspire Business Account, Aspire evolved from a pure player of lending to a full stack Neobank for SMEs. In the span of just 12 months, close to 10,000 SMEs have chosen us as an alternative to traditional banks - giving us an NPS score of 75 along the way.
We want to grow more! As a Product Growth intern, you'll be involved in developing features for the following areas in our product:
- Onboarding
- Acquisition via Referrals
- Account Activation - First Deposit
All of which will translate directly to growth metrics that we care about - including daily new users, number of referrals, onboarding completion rate, user retention, and more! You will also take part in defining, prioritizing, and tracking new metrics - and ultimately build features to give them a boost.
You'll work closely with our Singapore Country Head, Head of Operations, Marketing teams, Operation teams and the rest of the Product team to build, maintain and enhance growth features - with the help of your dedicated team of engineers.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and products
- Manage all lifecycle stages for a few features from ideation through sunset, with responsibility for ensuring that deliverables are understood, releases are delivered on time, and users are engaged
- Ideation of creative features/capabilities - how can we push the boundaries of being a Neobank - offering solutions traditional companies haven't even thought of
- Keep abreast of the goings-on in the industry.
- Define and track key usage metrics of your features to improve them.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of Aspire's products, market, and competition
- Work with QA engineers to create test plans.
- Lead or support special projects on an ad hoc basis. Such projects could be :Building a product in an area outside of the scope of growth (eg. compliance) Testing/implementing a tool : (marketing automation, CRM, e-signature, analytics...)
Requirements:
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Being highly logical as well as someone who can think creatively ("let's try this..")
- Attention to details
- Studying/Graduated from a leading university
- Excellent organizational and time management skills - you would be doing a lot of multi-tasking
- Familiar with agile product development processes
- Fluent in English
