Job description for Product Development Manager at ASABA Group
Asaba Group is currently developing a new product branded Agatis since 2021. We are developing the stationery products with various types. As a Product Development Manager at Asaba Group, you will develop new products that attract customers. Based in our Jakarta office, this full-time position will see you collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.
What you'll be doing
- Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for new product development or enhancement of existing products
- Develop and execute product roadmaps, managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into detailed specifications and implementation plans
- Monitor product performance and gather insights to inform continuous improvement and future product decisions
- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements.
- Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable plans.
- Monitor product performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations to optimize products.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform product strategies
What we're looking for
- Min. Bachelor Degree in any major (preferred from Management, Marketing, Economics or any major).
- Min. 3 years experience in Product Development Manager, Product Management, Product Development Supervisor, or Product Development.
- Have experience in Stationery Business, Office and School Product, Retail or FMCG.
- Having experience handling supplier from China (OEM and ODM) is point plus
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, user experience design, Accuracy and data analysis
- Fluency in English (Speaking and Writing) and Mandarin (conversation)
- Placement in Central Jakarta.
