Job description for Procurement Staff at Lumine Studio
Focuses on sourcing technical studio requirements, on-field film production logistics, vendor management, price negotiation, and operational cost efficiency.
Job Descriptions:
- End-to-End Sourcing: Scout, select, and manage a database of potential vendors/suppliers that meet the standards of a VFX and film production studio.
- Purchase Order (PO) Management: Process internal requests for goods/services, issue POs, and ensure timely delivery in accordance with specific project requirements.
- Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and business contracts to secure the most cost-efficient deals for both studio and production needs.
- VFX, Film Production & Tech Support: Manage the procurement of creative industry-specific assets, such as high-end hardware/render farms, renewal of production software licenses (Maya, Houdini, Nuke, etc.), as well as on-field film production logistics (including equipment rentals, catering, crew transportation, accommodation, and location-related expenses).
- Document Handover: Collect and verify the completeness of billing documents from vendors (Invoices, Receipts, Delivery Notes, field expense receipts) to be handed over to the Finance team for payment processing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Any Major (Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or Film/Creative backgrounds are highly welcome).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement, preferably within the Film Industry, Production House (PH), Animation Studio, or VFX Studio.
- Familiar with the vendor ecosystem supporting the creative, film production, and technology industries in Indonesia.
- Good Communication: Proficient in negotiating and communicating diplomatically to build long-term working relationships with tech vendors and film production suppliers.
- Proactive & Independent: Active in finding alternative solutions/backup vendors during emergencies, highly responsive to the fast-paced and dynamic needs of a film set, resilient under pressure, and capable of managing the procurement workflow independently from end to end.
