Job description for Procurement (Pricing) Specialist at PT NNR RPX GLOBAL LOGISTICS
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to support sales growth and
profitability. - Negotiate rates with carriers, airlines, shipping lines, trucking
companies, and other logistics vendors.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas
partners, agents, and vendors.
4. Analyse market trends, transportation costs, and competitor pricing
to ensure competitive pricing solutions.
5. Good in analysing to get GP (Gross Profit) margin by accurate and
detail in calculate buying and selling rate.
6. Prepare accurate pricing proposals for customers and sales teams.
7. Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Overseas partners to
provide effective logistics solutions.
8. Monitor procurement performance and identify opportunities for cost
savings and process improvements.
9. Ensure pricing databases and procurement records are maintained
accurately and updated regularly.
10. Lead and develop the Pricing and Procurement team to achieve
departmental objectives.
11. Taking care of Profit Share and Routing Orders calculation and
report to Management
12. Manage Vendor Registration and Assessment
13. Vendor management by selecting reliable and competitive vendor,
shipping liner, airlines, co-loader, trucking and warehouse
14. Giving suggestion and provide regular reports also market insights
to Top Management.
15. Proactively discuss with stakeholders to fulfil client demand.
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 5 years of experience
in Pricing or Procurement within the International Freight Forwarding or
Logistics industry.
2. Strong knowledge of Air
Freight, Ocean Freight, Transportation, and Warehousing services.
3. Proven experience in rate
negotiation and vendor management.
4. Have good networking in Freight
Forwarding.
5. Excellent understanding of
Incoterms and international logistics operations.
6. Strong communication, analytical,
negotiation, presentation and problem-solving skills.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft
Office, particularly Excel, and pricing analysis tools.
8. Proficiency in English both
written and verbal in good business manner
9. Leadership experience with the
ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
