The Procurement Specialist & Assistant (Procurement Oil and Gas) will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services required for our oil rig operations. Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, sourcing and evaluating suppliers, preparing procurement reports, coordinating with internal teams to meet project requirements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role also involves conducting negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions for purchases, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the procurement process from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will contribute to the smooth operation of our projects by ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement solutions.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the oil and gas industry, is required. Strong skills in vendor management, Microsoft Excel, procurement processes, negotiation, and purchasing negotiation are essential.
