Job description for Procurement Manager at PT Global Multindo Cipta
- Plans, organize, directs, and controls activities related to the procurement function.
- Designs, implements, manages and monitors procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Continuously evaluates market, delivery and pricing to determine present and future material availability to maximize profitability.
- Conducts periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure that priorities are clear and the workflow is running smoothly as per agreed plans at the beginning of each year
- Recommends appropriate development and training plans for subordinates and evaluating their effectiveness through monitoring the results delivered and employee's performance
- Carries out performance appraisals for subordinates according to the planned schedules and recommending necessary actions as per the adopted procedures
- Assist in Technical Feasibility Study and Budgeting
- To Coordinate & Manage the Consultant or Team in the preparations on the Engineering & Technical documents
- Bachelor degree from Architect / Civil Engineering
- Min 10 years of Procurement Manager experience in a similar sector (Property/Hospitality construction Business)
- Excellent management, operations and administrative skills.
- Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
- In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional knowledge in Construction industry methods, and applications
- Professional knowledge in Construction Procurement
- Knowledge in related governmental laws and legislation
- Planning, organization and detail orientation
- Visionary and strategic thinking
- Negotiating/Influencing Skills
- Conflict resolution skill
- Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, team work and well-organized multitasking.
- High fluency in English both in oral & written
