Job description for Process Engineer at PT HM Sampoerna Tbk
- To ensure that processes and machinery standards are sustainable, correctly defined and properly documented.
- To identified missing links in the process and to address the gaps interacting with the appropriate figures in the manufacturing organization to ensure the solution is addressed.
- Act as the SME for one defined technology and be the contact person for the Global CoE teams
- To work together with the technical staff within the production area in order to fill the identified skills gap and develop the adequate technical expertise.
- Ensure that the processes fulfill the safety, performance & quality requirements, through the development of instructions/procedures and provides adequate action plans, in case the controlled parameters are not within the limits
- Analyze, propose actions for key performance indicators related problems in order to maintain process at the optimum level.
- Provide guidance to production and maintenance in order to improve their working practices and procedures.
- Act as Key system user for production related to Information System and develop instruction for utilizing the information systems in production, train employees and ensures that they have the necessary knowledge for using the functions of these systems.
- Lead/coordinate complex process/system project from the definition of options/solutions (technical development/research) to the implementation and post projects monitoring.
- Ensure traceability and compliance by initiating a change management when required. Ensure a proper follow up and reporting in a timely manner.
- Lead/coordinate or participate in special project teams to improve overall factory performance and foster the implementation of global initiatives.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to Production staff and other departments, liaise with concerned stakeholders and provide training when required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical or Science from reputable universities
- 2-3 year's experience in maintenance and in production environment
- Fluent in written and in speaking in English
- Experience in FMCG or similar industries
- Familiar with QMS, Integrated Manufacturing System/ OPEN+ would be a plus
- Willing to international travel for work
