Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math & Science Teacher to join our Primary School team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Mathematics and Science lessons based on an International Curriculum while fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning among young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Mathematics and Science lessons for Primary students.
- Implement engaging, inquiry-based, and student-centered learning experiences.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials aligned with curriculum standards.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Foster students' problem-solving, analytical thinking, and scientific inquiry skills.
- Create a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning abilities and needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development and academic progress.
- Participate in school events, meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and curriculum implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education, Mathematics Education, Science Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in Mathematics and/or Science at the Primary level.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with international curricula such as Cambridge Primary, Singapore Curriculum, IB PYP, or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Primary Mathematics and Science concepts.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passionate about working with children and supporting their academic growth.
- Able to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Proficient in utilizing educational technology and digital learning tools.
- Willing to be assigned to the Bintaro office in South Jakarta.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching Cambridge Primary Mathematics and Science.
- Experience preparing students for Cambridge Checkpoint or similar international assessments.
- Teaching certification is an advantage.
- Experience in project-based and inquiry-based learning approaches.
