What you will do
Currently, we are looking for someone who can fill the position of Pre-School Teacher. Take a look at points below to understand more about this role.
- Deliver engaging lessons using the Montessori and discovery-based approach, integrating three languages (English, Bahasa Indonesia, and Mandarin preferred).
- Facilitate hands-on activities that develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in young learners.
- Foster a multilingual learning environment by integrating language learning naturally into daily interactions, songs, storytelling, and play.
- Encourage inquiry-based learning, allowing children to explore, question, and make connections to real-world concepts.
- Create a nurturing and supportive classroom that fosters confidence, independence, and emotional intelligence.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child’s learning journey, providing regular updates on progress.
- Assess and document children's growth in language, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that respects cultural diversity and promotes positive interactions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Fluent in at least one of the three target languages (English, Bahasa Indonesia).
- 1+ years of teaching experience in an early childhood setting, experience in Montessori or discovery-based methods is a plus.
- Passionate about language immersion, child-led learning, and holistic education.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a joyful and engaging learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in working with young children and parents.
- A growth mindset and willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young learners.
- Montessori certification is a plus.
- International teaching experience or exposure to bilingual/multilingual education.
- Background in arts, music, or STEM education to enrich the discovery learning process.
