Position Summary
Miss Michelle Learning House is seeking a passionate and nurturing Pre-Primary Math Teacher to teach early years students using an international-based learning approach. The teacher will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive Math learning experiences that help young children build strong foundational numeracy skills in a fun and supportive environment.
This role requires strong English proficiency, patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education. The ideal candidate enjoys working closely with young learners, understands age-appropriate teaching methods, and is committed to supporting children’s academic and developmental growth.
Job Description
- Teach Math for pre-primary students using an international-based curriculum and learning approach
- Create engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate learning activities
- Support students in developing foundational numeracy and problem-solving skills
- Monitor students’ learning progress and development closely
- Communicate regularly with parents, including providing student feedback and progress updates
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons and classroom activities
- Create a positive, caring, and enjoyable learning environment for young children
- Collaborate with team members to build and improve learning programs
- Teach 5 days a week from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm
Requirements
- Minimum S1 (preferably majoring in Early Childhood Education, Math, Teaching, or related field)
- Strong English proficiency is a must, both written and spoken
- Passion for teaching young children and introducing Math concepts in fun and meaningful ways
- Patient, caring, energetic, and creative in handling young learners
- Love being around children and care about their progress and development
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Good initiative, teamwork spirit, and open-minded character
- Willing to teach face to face and online (via Zoom/Google Meet)
- Willing to be placed in West Jakarta / BSD area
