Job Description
We are looking for an experienced PP & PE (Polyolefin) Sales professional to join our sales team.
This position focuses on B2B sales of Polyolefin plastic resins (PP & PE), particularly to companies and manufacturers that use plastic raw materials in their production processes.
The ideal candidate is a sales hunter who is experienced in canvassing, identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and closing deals to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential customers and new business opportunities within the plastics and manufacturing industry.
- Conduct canvassing and approach potential B2B customers.
- Promote and sell Polyolefin plastic resins (PP & PE) to manufacturers and industrial customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Follow up on leads and potential customers throughout the sales process until closing.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and other sales terms with customers.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and new business opportunities.
- Achieve assigned monthly and/or quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements and satisfaction are properly addressed.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings and regular visits to customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B Sales with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Mandatory experience selling plastic resins / Polyolefin (PP & PE).
- Experience in the polyolefin, plastics, resin, or plastic manufacturing industry.
- Good understanding of PP and PE plastic resins, including their applications and characteristics.
- Experienced in canvassing, prospecting, and acquiring new customers.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and closing skills.
- Strong ability to identify new business opportunities and develop customer relationships.
- Able to conduct market research and understand customer requirements.
- Proficient in preparing sales reports and maintaining sales pipelines.
- Comfortable working on-site and conducting face-to-face meetings and customer visits.
- Willing to travel for customer visits as required.
