The Role: Lead Our Manufacturing Plant in Deltamas
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee the operations of our manufacturing facility in Deltamas, Cikarang. This critical leadership position involves managing all aspects of production, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The Plant Manager will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a productive work environment.
This role requires a strategic and execution-oriented leader with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide clear leadership and direction to all personnel within the Deltamas plant, aligning with company objectives.
- Manage all production processes in the Deltamas facility to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products while optimizing efficiency and minimizing waste.
- Enforce a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and quality standards within the Deltamas plant.
- Implement and maintain robust quality control systems in the Deltamas operation to consistently meet customer requirements.
- Develop and manage the plant budget for the Deltamas facility, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) within the Deltamas plant to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate plant personnel in the Deltamas operation, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure the proper functioning of plant equipment and infrastructure in the Deltamas facility.
- Oversee inventory levels in the Deltamas plant to optimize material flow and minimize carrying costs.
- Prepare and present regular reports on the performance of the Deltamas plant, including production metrics and financial results.
- Communicate effectively with senior management, suppliers, and other stakeholders regarding the Deltamas plant operations.
Challenges You Will Address:
- Maintaining consistent product quality within the Deltamas facility amidst varying production demands and potential supply chain issues in the Cikarang & Karawang region.
- Optimizing production efficiency in the Deltamas plant to improve throughput and reduce downtime.
- Leading and developing a diverse workforce in the Deltamas facility, addressing skill gaps and fostering a positive work culture.
- Controlling costs and managing the budget for the Deltamas operation effectively.
- Implementing and sustaining continuous improvement efforts throughout the Deltamas plant.
- Adapting to and implementing relevant technological advancements in manufacturing within the Deltamas facility.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable Indonesian regulations within the Deltamas plant.
- Managing supply chain dynamics relevant to the Cikarang & Karawang industrial area.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field). A Master's degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a plant management or senior leadership role, preferably in Indonesia.
- Proven success in managing all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality, safety, and cost control.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Knowledge of relevant Indonesian regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in automotive manufacturing industry.
- Certification in Lean or Six Sigma.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Familiarity with the Cikarang & Karawang industrial environment.
