Job description for Petroleum Storage Terminal Expeditor at PT Imecon Tekindo
- Verify custody transfer measurements, including tank ullage/innage, free water, and temperature before and after product movements.
- Monitor and reconcile terminal, vessel, barge, or pipeline figures to identify and document product gains or losses.
- Oversee petroleum product sampling procedures and ensure compliance with applicable ASTM/API standards.
- Monitor tank line-ups, valve alignments, line flushing, and pump operations to minimize cross-contamination and operational errors.
- Maintain real-time operational records, including flow rates, delays, idle time, and product movements.
- Coordinate with terminal operators, third-party surveyors, vessel officers, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in oil terminal operations, marine surveying, petroleum measurement, or loss control.
- Strong knowledge of petroleum measurement, custody transfer, and loss control.
- Familiarity with API MPMS, ASTM sampling standards, and petroleum measurement tables.
- Experience with tank gauging, product sampling, and reconciliation of volume/mass measurements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Relevant HSE, HAZWOPER, inspection, or petroleum industry certifications will be an advantage.
- Willing to be based in East Kalimantan.
