Pentester - Cybersecurity
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Offensive Security / VAPT
- Strong knowledge of web security vulnerabilities (XSS, IDOR, API security – REST/GraphQL)
- Experience in mobile security testing (reverse engineering, SSL pinning bypass, SAST/DAST)
- Understanding of desktop/thick-client security, including memory and IPC testing
- Ability to automate testing using scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong analytical and adversarial (attacker mindset) approach
- Excellent report writing & communication skills (able to explain vulnerabilities clearly)
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Familiar with security standards (OWASP WSTG/MSTG, ASVS, NIST)
- Certifications preferred: CEH Master, OSCP, OSWE, eMAPT, or CREST equivalent
- Willing to travel and work onsite as required
Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing) for:
o Web applications
o Mobile applications (Android/iOS)
o Desktop applications
o APIs
- Apply security testing methodologies based on OWASP, ASVS, and NIST standards
- Identify vulnerabilities and develop Proof of Concepts (PoC)
- Provide clear, actionable remediation recommendations
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation
- Present findings and advise clients on security risks & mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders during remediation process
