Job description for Payroll Specialist at PT LBM Energi Baru Indonesia
Position: Payroll Specialist (English Speaker)
Department: HRGA Department
Location: Batang, Central Java
Job Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Calculate salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions, incentives, and other payroll-related components.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, tax regulations, and social security requirements (BPJS Kesehatan & BPJS Ketenagakerjaan).
- Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax reports, and statutory reports as required.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, attendance data, leave records, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and department managers to verify payroll-related information.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, compensation, benefits, and deductions.
- Support payroll audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Monitor payroll processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, labor regulations, taxation, and BPJS administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems/software.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken (mandatory).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Willing to be placed in Batang, Central Java.
