ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a creative Pattern Illustrator & Textile Print Designer with a strong aesthetic sense and a passion for creating beautiful, distinctive, and memorable designs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Pattern Design & Development
Create original and exclusive repeating patterns for Mommy & Kids products.
Develop minimal, one-tone, two-tone, and colourful patterns.
Design seamless repeat patterns using illustrations, characters, and decorative motifs.
Experiment with pattern scale, spacing, composition, and colour combinations.
Develop signature prints that establish a recognizable brand identity.
2. Illustration & Character Development
Create original and charming character illustrations inspired by animals, nature, everyday objects, and playful themes.
Develop memorable characters with simple yet distinctive personalities.
Create delicate, elegant, and playful illustrations.
Maintain consistency in illustration style, proportions, and visual identity.
Transform individual illustrations into cohesive repeating patterns.
3. Textile & Product Design
Apply illustrations and patterns across Mommy & Kids product categories.
Develop print collections for baby essentials, nursing essentials, clothing, blankets, bags, and accessories.
Prepare seamless and production-ready artwork for textile printing.
Ensure designs translate beautifully into actual products and materials.
4. Creative Research & Brand Development
Research fashion, lifestyle, illustration, and textile design trends.
Develop moodboards, colour palettes, and creative concepts.
Explore new characters, motifs, and pattern collections.
Contribute fresh ideas to strengthen the brand's visual identity.
REQUIREMENTS
Background in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Illustration, or Graphic Design.
Experience in textile prints, surface pattern design, or character illustration is preferred.
Strong portfolio showcasing repeating patterns, original illustrations, and character designs.
Excellent aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Procreate is a plus.
Understand seamless repeat patterns and textile printing techniques.
Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
