Job description for Pastry Chef at Dear Butter
Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pastry and dessert production
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredient handling
- Highly creative and detail-oriented with excellent plating skills
- Able to lead a small team and manage daily kitchen operations
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Experience in recipe development and menu innovation is a plus
- Previous experience in hotel or premium restaurant is preferred
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for all mise en place for salad and dessert menus
- Develop variations and conduct R&D for salad and pastry menus
- Maintain consistency in all salad and dessert menu items
- Ensure all products meet company standards and SOPs
- Uphold food safety standards and maintain kitchen hygiene
- Work closely with Head Chef and management for kitchen planning
