Job description for Operations Team Lead at BUUMI Playscape
As a Playground Operational Team Lead, you will take ownership of end-to-end outlet performance - ensuring operational excellence, driving profitability, and building strong collaborations both internally and external partners. This role combines hands-on execution with strategic thinking to deliver a seamless and high-quality customer experience at BUUMI.
Your Focus:
- Lead day-to-day playground operations to ensure a safe, seamless, and premium customer experience
- Drive operational excellence by maintaining high service standards, SOP compliance, and team discipline on-site
- Monitor and improve outlet performance, including revenue, cost control, and overall profitability
- Analyze operational and financial reports to identify opportunities for efficiency and growth
- Plan and execute initiatives to increase traffic, conversion, and customer satisfaction
- Work closely with the Marketing team to support campaigns, events, and on-ground activations
- Build and maintain strong collaboration with nearby tenants/partners to create joint initiatives and drive footfall
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution of programs and events
- Lead, coach, and develop the outlet team to deliver consistent performance and align with BUUMI’s service standards
- Ensure all safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards are upheld at all times
Attributes:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Hospitality, Management, or related fields
- Proven experience in operations, retail, F&B, hospitality, or playground/entertainment industry
- Strong understanding of P&L, budgeting, and outlet performance management
- Hands-on leader with the ability to manage both strategy and on-ground execution
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in handling events, activations, or partnerships is a plus
- Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high operational standards
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
