Job description for Operations Manager at Kekua Villa Management
About the Role
Kekua Villa Management is looking for an experienced and hands-on Operational Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our managed villas across Bali.
You will be responsible for ensuring that each villa is well-maintained, guest-ready, and operated according to Kekua's standards. You will work closely with villa owners, Operations teams, housekeeping, front office, maintenance vendors, and the corporate team to ensure smooth and consistent operations.
This is a key role in building our operational standards and systems as Kekua continues to expand its villa portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of multiple managed villas.
- Ensure villas consistently meet cleanliness, maintenance, service, and guest-readiness standards.
- Develop and implement operational SOPs, checklists, and service standards.
- Coordinate and supervise villa operational teams, including housekeeping and front office.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and external vendors when required.
- Conduct regular villa inspections and follow up on operational issues.
- Monitor guest feedback and ensure issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
- Coordinate with Villa Acquisition and Revenue teams to ensure newly acquired villas are ready for operation.
- Maintain good relationships with villa owners and provide operational updates when required.
- Monitor operational costs and ensure expenses are controlled efficiently.
- Identify operational problems and provide practical solutions.
- Support the management team in improving operational efficiency as the portfolio grows.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in villa management, hotel operations, hospitality, or a similar position.
- Experience managing multiple properties/villas is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of villa/hospitality operations, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Able to work independently and be hands-on when needed.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiar with Bali's hospitality and villa management environment.
- Have a valid driving license and own transportation is preferred.
- Willing to travel between properties across Bali.
