Job description for Operations Manager at Odysee Education Indonesia
- Develop and implement strategic plans for each division, ensuring collaboration across teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact (PIC) for daily reporting and communication with upper management regarding the performance of the four divisions.
- Monitor and drive performance metrics, ensure all departments meet their KPIs, and suggest improvements where necessary.
- Ensure smooth communication and collaboration between HR, Marketing, Operations, and Sales divisions.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and improve internal processes.
- Provide guidance and support to department managers, ensuring consistency in company values and goals across teams.
- Lead HR initiatives, including talent management, performance reviews, employee engagement, and compliance with company policies.
- Optimize operational workflows and ensure efficient resource management across the divisions.
- Actively participate in strategic decision-making related to operational improvements and human resource planning.
- Provide leadership in developing marketing strategies that align with sales objectives and company growth targets.
- Oversee sales strategies, ensuring the team meets targets, and coordinate efforts with the marketing division to maximize results.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to adjust strategies as necessary.
- Ensure consistent daily reporting from all divisions, including HR, Marketing, Operations, and Sales.
- Compile and present key performance data to the executive team, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve overall business performance.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR and Operations roles.
- At least 2 years of experience in the education industry (e.g., EdTech, educational institutions, or other relevant sectors).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations, or a related field. An MBA or relevant master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience working in a startup environment, handling multiple divisions and leading cross-functional teams.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience handling Sales and Marketing functions, with a track record of driving results.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, especially in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to present insights clearly to senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, operational workflows, and sales and marketing strategies.
- Highly adaptable, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with project management tools and software is a plus.
