Job description for Operational Manager at Recovered Indonesia
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily plant operations including waste sorting, processing, and recycled plastic production.
- Ensure production targets, efficiency, and quality standards are achieved.
- Supervise production teams including supervisors, operators, and technicians.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance with technical teams.
- Implement operational improvements to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Manage logistics and material flow from waste collection to finished recycled products.
- Prepare operational reports including production output, downtime, and operational costs.
- Coordinate with finance, procurement, and management teams for operational planning.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in recycling, waste management, plastics, or industrial processing.
- Strong knowledge of production management and process optimization.
- Experience managing production teams and plant operations.
- Familiarity with industrial safety and environmental regulations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Proficiency in operational reporting and data analysis.
- Willing to be based in Ambon/ Sorong
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in plastic recycling operations or circular economy projects
- Knowledge of waste management systems and material recovery processes.
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Strong stakeholder coordination skills with suppliers and logistics partners.
