Operation Support (Logistics Coordinator)

Role Summary:

The Operations Support role is responsible for managing logistics operations, focusing on international freight. This includes arranging goods receipt and deliveries, ensuring compliance with shipping requirements, and maintaining efficient coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role demands experience in international shipments, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to addressing logistical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage international freight operations, overseeing goods receipt and delivery arrangements.
• Communicate effectively with 3PL (third-party logistics) partners to obtain quotations, confirm shipping schedules, and arrange logistics services.
• Prepare, review, and validate shipping documentation (e.g., packing lists, commercial invoices, and shipping manifests) to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Monitor shipment progress, track deliveries, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve logistics-related issues and implement process improvements to optimize workflows.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of logistics activities, including shipment tracking and communications with 3PL partners.
• Evaluate logistics partner performance, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Stay informed on international shipping regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in operations support, logistics management, or international freight operations.
• Fresh graduates with internship experience in logistics or related fields are also encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with export shipments, cross-border logistics, and customs clearance processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for shipment tracking, data management, and logistics analysis.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with 3PL partners and internal teams.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of documentation and operations.

Special Working Arrangement:

This role will primarily operate during standard business hours but may require flexibility to accommodate communication with teams in different time zones (e.g., Singapore, US, UK).
