Job description for New Product Development Manager at PT. ROCKETINDO
- Determines the process for creating a new item.
- Ongoing analysis of style/material minimums, material costs, lead times and technical issues.
- Gathers the raw materials necessary to build or create the product being developed.
- Look for new suppliers and vendors and maintain favorable relationship with external partners.
- Monitor all progress from product formulation, product registration, product stability, design and packaging, goods production, and marketing support
- Set pricing based on competitors' research
- Researches patents, copyrights and trademarks in order to make sure there are no infringement issues involved.
- Creates marketing campaigns designed to inform people about new product availability.
- Ensures that every phase of a particular project proceeds as scheduled.
- Makes adjustments to a development plan whenever the current idea is not working well.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a leading position in Beauty product development.
- Excellent communication skills, sensibility, and sensitivity for problem-solving of internal and external customer needs.
- Experience and good understanding of manufacturing Beauty product.
- Eager to take on new challenges: introduce and implement new approaches and ideas, grow, test and learn.
