Job Description
- Configure, manage, and maintain network security infrastructure, including firewalls and other network security devices.
- Monitor network security systems to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities.
- Implement and maintain security policies, firewall rules, and access control configurations.
- Perform network security assessments, troubleshooting, and incident investigation to ensure network reliability and security.
- Manage and optimize security solutions, particularly Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies.
- Identify security risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures to protect network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to resolve security issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, configuration records, and network security reports.
- Ensure network security configurations comply with organizational policies and applicable security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in network security or a related field.
- Must hold at least one of the following certifications:
- Palo Alto Certified Network Security Professional
- Palo Alto Certified Network Security Analyst
- Palo Alto Certified Next-Gen Firewall Engineer
- Fortinet NSE 5
- Fortinet NSE 6
- Fortinet NSE 7
- Hands-on experience in network security, firewall configuration, and security policy management.
- Familiar with Palo Alto or Fortinet security solutions.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPN, and network security protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams.
