Job description for Network Engineer at ZAP Clinic
ZAP Group is looking for a Network Engineer to join our IT team and ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing network infrastructure across our growing organization.
What You’ll Do
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and Internet connectivity.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues and provide effective solutions.
- Support network setup and implementation for new ZAP Group branches and offices.
- Perform regular network maintenance and optimization.
- Maintain network documentation, topology, configurations, and network assets.
- Coordinate with ISPs and external vendors for network-related issues.
- Collaborate with the IT team to support smooth daily business operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, Routing, and Switching.
- Hands-on experience with MikroTik, Cisco, Fortinet, or similar network devices.
- Good understanding of network security and firewall configuration.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to work Full WFO at ZAP Group Head Office.
Nice to Have :
- CCNA, MTCNA, Fortinet, or other relevant certifications.
- Experience managing network infrastructure across multiple branches.
- Experience in a multi-branch business environment.
