We’re looking for a Music Project Manager with a strong background in music production, composition, and creative direction to lead the execution of a full-length album. This role is ideal for someone who understands both the artistic and logistical sides of music, and can oversee everything from studio sessions to music video production and release planning.
You’ll be working closely with an emerging artist, ensuring the project stays on track creatively and professionally, while also contributing to their brand development and public presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Music & Production
Oversee the production of a full-length album from start to finish
Collaborate on songwriting, arrangement, and studio sessions
Coordinate with composers, sound engineers, and musicians
Maintain creative consistency across all tracks
Visual Content & Media
Support the planning and execution of music videos and visual content
Work with directors, videographers, and editors to align visuals with the music
Ensure all media supports the artist's brand and artistic vision
Project Management
Develop and manage timelines, budgets, and production schedules
Organize and track milestones for recording, mixing, mastering, and release
Handle communication between all creative and technical collaborators
Artist Support & Development
Guide the artist through the production process with clear direction and support
Help shape the overall vision for the project and release strategy
Contribute to brand development, online presence, and fan engagement planning
Requirements:
Proven experience managing music projects or producing albums
Solid understanding of music composition, recording, and production workflows
Experience coordinating or producing visual content (music videos, promo assets)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage timelines, deadlines, and creative teams
Bonus: Understanding of digital music distribution and marketing
