Job description for Molecular Biologist (Laboratory) at PT GENETIKA SCIENCE INDONESIA
Genetika Science Lab Division of PT Genetika Science Indonesia is a highly growing division whose main business is performing molecular biology, genomics and transcriptomics services to scientific and industrial customers. We are now looking for talented Molecular Biologists and Bioinformaticians to join our dedicated team working in our modern, advanced and state-of-the-art laboratory.
Job description:
1. Perform DNA and RNA extraction, purification, and quality checks from biological samples.
2. Prepare and process DNA/RNA for PCR, qPCR, library preparation, and NGS.
3. Troubleshoot any problems during laboratory process.
4. Handle samples properly and maintain accurate sample records and documentation.
5. Follow SOPs and safety procedures, and support daily laboratory activities and process improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor or Master degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
2. Candidates with a PhD Degree are welcome to apply.
3. Candidates must possess a good attitude, great discipline, be fast learners, be able to work as a team, and be able to work under pressure.
4. Good understanding of molecular biology theory and laboratory techniques.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Detail-oriented, organized, disciplined, and willing to perform routine laboratory workflows.
7. Experience in a molecular biology, microbiology, biotechnology, or NGS laboratory is preferred.
