Job description for Middle Data Engineer at Celerates
Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
2. Manage and optimize data workflows using GCP services
3. Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes
4. Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business Teams to support data needs
5. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems
6. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues
7. Create technical documentation related to data architecture and processes
Requirements
1. 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
2. Hands-on experience with Python, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Big Data technologies.
3. Proven experience building and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and processing large datasets.
4. Strong SQL skills with a good understanding of data modeling and data warehousing.
5. Experience with Airflow/Cloud Composer and cloud-native data architectures is a plus.
6. Available to join immediately or within a short notice period.
