Job description for Merchant Assistant at King Trading
We are looking for a reliable and well-organised Merchant Assistant to support our merchandising team with daily sampling, order tracking, and general production administration.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update shipment reports for merchant bonus tracking
- Maintain fabric sample recaps
- Update and monitor daily sampling progress
- Check Asana for new incoming orders and assign them to the relevant merchant
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Airtable
- Prepare and coordinate pattern handovers
- Support merchants with general follow-up and administration
Requirements:
- Good English, written and spoken
- Organised, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, Airtable, and task management systems
- Able to work independently and coordinate with different departments
- Experience in garment, fashion, merchandising, or production is an advantage
