About the role
We are looking for a Merchandising Staff to support our sports retail business. You will be involved in the end-to-end merchandising process, including buying, merchandise planning, and allocation for sports products such as apparel, footwear, and accessories.
Key responsibilities
- Support the merchandising and buying process for sports products based on business needs, market trends, and sales performance.
- Assist in developing merchandise plans, including product assortment, quantity, pricing, and sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance, stock levels, and inventory movement to identify opportunities and potential issues.
- Manage product allocation and replenishment across stores and/or channels to ensure the right product is available at the right location and time.
- Analyze sales and inventory data to support merchandising decisions.
- Prepare regular merchandising reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with suppliers, principals, stores, warehouse, and other internal teams to ensure smooth product availability.
- Support seasonal buying activities, product launches, promotions, and other merchandising initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, buying, planning, retail, or a related field. Fresh graduates with strong analytical and commercial skills are also welcome to apply.
- Passionate about running and has a strong interest in running products, trends, and the sports retail industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to work with data and translate analysis into practical business actions.
- Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
