Job description for MEP Project Design Officer at PT. Central Mall Kelola
The Opportunity
Join the dynamic team at Central Park Mall as an MEP Project Design Officer. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the project management of construction projects in the vibrant city of West Jakarta.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete design work from the work order list
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications and other documentation to support the construction process
- Conduct a follow-up on the design that has been submitted to the User who gave the work order
- Conduct an on-site survey after receiving the work order design (field measurement, checking the required materials, and browsing related to the work given)
- Minimize revisions to the work order list design
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate the implementation of MEP systems
- Follow up on the design progress from the Consultant starting from the technical meeting, on-site survey, design progress, design revision to the kick-off meeting of the work
- Make a daily report (daily to do list) and the status of each design job
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive project design plans for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards
What We're Looking For
- The candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electric/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in MEP project design, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD
- Strong technical skills and understanding of MEP systems
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
